Reflection Paper
This was one of the shortest classes I have ever been in throughout my entire semester. It Is really hard to fail this class, I mean this is a class on morals and ethics. it is like failing a class that teaches you had to think. My moral beliefs and ethics are conflicted, I believe in doing the right thing. I would turn in an acquaintance who done something bad because I don't want to go to jail for not snitching. Don't get me wrong, I will turn them in a heartbeat because the no snitching policy is the most worthless stupid thing I have ever heard of. It is ironic that it is 2016 and not much has changed other than some improvements. We have a Women's Day, thankfully. The subordination of women is deeply imbedded in social institutions such as the legal system, the workplace, the family, and religion. We have to fight for reproductive rights and it’s our own bodies . Some educational institutions encourage girls and women to pursue occupations in traditionally female areas rather than traditionally male areas. Unfortunately, women studies have not been integrated into mainstream education. Now women's studies has become part of the Academy that offers majors, minors, master degrees and doctorates . We women have bad reputations regardless of race. My African-American sisters are stereotyped as domineering head strong women, Jewish women are depicted as status-obsessed princesses, Asian and Latina women are depicted as docile , mysterious , and exotic.
